Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets is a hotel with a cause and a valued partner in the tourism industry that is changing “business as usual” to provide guests a unique luxury experience centered on shark and ocean conservation. A percentage of each guests’ stay goes to supporting our cause.

KAN Tulum’s sustainable luxury treehouses & hotel is proud to support the conservation of keystone species through their core causes: Sharks and jaguars. In partnership with Saving Our Sharks Foundation they have pledged to carry out fundraising efforts, promote deeper knowledge and love towards sharks while curating experiences that engage their community.

As members of our Advisory Board, and “Inspired by Nature”, Cancun Adventures support shark conservation through in-kind donations for photography and video production services. They also raise awareness and funds through their customers with creative messaging and donation boxes.

Scuba Life Cozumel is proud to promote ocean and reef health by supporting shark conservation with the diving industry. They have started their own fundraising campaign within the scuba community, setting an example of what dive shops can do to save sharks and support fishers. The Shop and crew will support the fishers from the Isla Mujeres Shark initiative directly in their training to become scuba professionals.

Ray Diving Cozumel has committed to starting their own fundraising campaign within the scuba community, setting an example of what dive shops can do to save sharks and support fishers. They have also donated two tank dive trips, DSD’s and a scuba certification that we will use as giveaway prizes. They are proud to support the scuba instruction of the “Masters of the seas” that are training as scuba divers to practice diving in Cozumel.

Chubbs sketchbook is the artist behind the foundation’s mesmerizing shark and ray the illustrations some of which he kindly donated. He is an artist and whale shark guide that resides in Isla Mujeres who is also supporting the cause by creating his  own fundraising campaign to reel in friends and family to support our shark-saving mission.

Hoteles BF, a certified B Corporation, joins our Shark Hero efforts to protect sharks in the Mesoamerican Reef System. They champion ecotourism, fundraise, and sponsor events to raise awareness in Cozumel, Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo, and Mexico City.

Cozumel Marine World is a reference regionally for training dive pros. They join us as a Shark Hero, pledging a monthly contribution, campaigning within their community, and providing professional training to foster fishermen’s transition into diving guides.

Located in Isla Mujeres, Pocna Dive is a PADI Eco Center that joins the Shark Hero movement by pledging a monthly donation, engaging their community in fundraising, and donating PADI certifications for auctions and giveaways. Committed to empowering the local community, they have pledged support to former shark fishers in their transition to eco-tourism.

Deadhead Rum, renowned for its commitment to sustainability, stands as a Shark Hero partner alongside SOSF. Through the Deadhead® SOSF Shark Cocktail campaign, they spearhead conservation initiatives, leveraging their platform to advocate for ocean protection and drive impactful change worldwide.
